Let us see here what the Holy Spirit has revealed about the tree of life which is planted in the garden of the Lord. Those souls, who have got grace to enter into the Kingdom of God, will eat the fruit of this tree. The souls who eat the fruit of this tree of life will never die. Where was this tree of life in the beginning?
In Gen. 3: 23, 24 it is said like this:
“Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.”
The Bible bears witness that in the days of Adam, this tree of life was in Eden. The Lord created all until six days; he created all. Among those creations which were created thus there was no tree which could bring forth life. The Lord planted this tree which can bring forth the fruit that gives Life on the eighth day. The Lord created this tree of life which brings forth the fruit that gives Life to the man who was created on the eighth day. The man who was created on the sixth day was prohibited from eating the fruit of this tree of life which the Lord had planted. That tree of life was not planted in the habitation of people who were created on the sixth day. It was planted in Eden the garden of the Lord where Adam who had a soul, created on the eighth day, was kept there. The fruit of this tree was not commanded to natural men who were created on the sixth day and become sand with sand after eating the gifts of the earth and receiving the reward on this earth.
It is the Lord who created all the branches, the plants and the trees. They yielded the fruits. The man who was created on the sixth day ate all those fruits. They were not forbidden to him. Although those fruits were poisonous, they were not forbidden to them. They could eat the fruits of all the trees in whatever state they want. It was not forbidden to them.
Tree of life was not created among the creations which the Lord created until the sixth day. This tree of life was created for Adam who had a soul and he was generated on the eighth day. Hence, that tree of life was planted in the Garden of Eden. The Lord did not forbid anything with the things of the creations created until the sixth day. No command was given to them that they should eat the fruits of this kind of trees and that they should not eat the fruits of that kind of trees. The Lord gave all the creations, which He created until the sixth day, to the man and commanded, “You eat all these. You enjoy all these”. Rights were given to the man who was created on the sixth day to enjoy absolutely all the things created until the sixth day. He could eat whatever fruits he wanted. He could sit wherever he wanted to sit on. He could wear whatever dresses he wanted to wear. He could cut his hair however he wanted to cut. He could shave his head. Those women could wear their dresses however they liked. Those women could come and say any message in any meeting. It was not forbidden to them. They could eat whatever they want to eat. They could speak whatever they want to speak. They could be however they wished to be. Nothing was forbidden there. The forbidden place was the Garden of Eden. The forbidden place was the garden of the Lord. Only to Adam and to those who were with Adam, there was one thing forbidden. The fruit of the knowledge of good and evil was forbidden to them. There, the Lord had commanded a law. That law was command, “You do these. You do not do these”. Only in the place of the Law, the tree of life was kept.
Dear beloved in Christ, Adam, the man who had a soul was created on the eighth day. The eighth day was the day of circumcision. That day belongs to the Lord. The man who was created on that day was Adam. The Lord breathed His breath into Adam. The Bible says (Gen.2:7), “the man became a living soul”. The fruit of the tree of life was commanded to the man who had a soul, in order to get Eternal Life. This kind of grace was not commanded to the man who was created on the sixth day; because, the man who was created on the sixth day had no life in him. That life is the soul.
The Lord breathed His living breath into Adam. When the living breath of the Lord was breathed into him, a spiritual happening occurred there and a soul was generated. Only to the man who had a soul, a command was given forbidding him to do something and asking him to do something. The fruit of the tree of life was commanded in order that the man who had a soul should live without experiencing death called destruction. Only to them, who have souls, the Lord brings a discipline. The Lord brings a justice. The Lord gives them the Word. On that day, the Word was, “You can eat the fruit of any tree, but you should not eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil”.
We have already seen a thing. The one who was created on the sixth day was the one who had no soul. No law was given to him who had no soul. For an example, we are Indians. We have fundamental rules of India. That Indian fundamental rule defines that an Indian citizen should be like this. This Indian rule does not control an Indian citizen when he goes out of India. The law will have control over him in the country where he lives. The Lord commanded a statute to the man who was created on the eighth day. That was, “you should not eat the fruit of this tree”. Why was the fruit of the tree forbidden there?
In Gen. 2: 16, 17 it is said like this:
“And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”
Those who were with Adam could eat the fruits of all the trees in the Garden of Eden. But they were forbidden to eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. When the command “Do not eat” was generated, there comes one. Until then, he does not have any part there. When it was told, “You can eat all”, his work was not yet started. You must know one thing clearly; the enemy will fight against the one who has a soul. He is a tempter. The matters of the one who does not have a soul, is not the matter of a temptation. That is something related to flesh.
To deceive the fleshy body which does not have a soul is not a matter of concern for the devil. Satan is functioning as a deceiver in order to convert the soul from the state of life into that of death. He was working as one who snatched the grace of eating the fruit of the tree of life.
In Gen. 3: 22 it is said like this:
“And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:”
Adam ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil forbidden by the Lord. The Lord came to walk with Adam in the garden in the cool of the day. He came into the Garden of Eden with a view of seeing how that one with a soul, into whom we breathed our breath, was. But Adam heard His voice and was afraid and hid himself among the other trees. The Lord called him, “Adam”. He said, “I am naked”. The Lord said, “Who told you that you are naked”. Did you eat the fruit of the tree which I forbade? As Adam ate the forbidden fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, the fruit of the tree of life was forbidden to him. After the Word had been fulfilled, the fruit of the tree of life was taken into Paradise. “He put forth his hand”. One can pluck the fruit only when it is at a height of touch. See, the fruit of the tree of life was not at an unreachable height. It was at a height wherefrom Adam could pluck. If he ate the fruit of tree of life there would be no death for him. Since, Adam who had a soul ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil which was forbidden to him, the fruit of the tree of life was forbidden to him. Since Adam who had a soul got into first transgression, he could not eat the fruit of the Tree of life. Reason – knowing good and evil. What is the meaning of knowing good and evil?
In 1 Kings 3: 9 it is said like this:
“Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?”
Discerning the good and evil is wisdom. The Bible says that this wisdom is divided into two parts.
In James 3:14, 15 it is said like this:
“But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.”
It is mentioned that bearing witness to the truth is a kind of wisdom and speaking lies against the truth is another kind of wisdom. The Word witnesses that the wisdom against the truth is a devilish wisdom.
The Lord has commanded wisdom. That wisdom is sent from heaven. The wisdom sent from above (heaven) gave Adam a Word. That Word said, “You may eat the fruits of all the trees in this garden. But you should not eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. In the day you eat that fruit, you shall surely die”. This is the wisdom that came from heaven. There, the devilish wisdom said, “In the day you eat it, you shall not surely die. You shall be as gods”.
If we think according to flesh, what all the devil said to Eve, was truth. The devil said, “In the day you eat it you shall not surely die. You shall be as gods”. Adam and Eve did not die on the day, they ate the fruit. After eating that fruit, they gave birth to children and lived for many years. But, the death which the Lord mentioned was the spiritual death.
In Gen. 3:22 it is said like this:
“And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:”
The Bible witnesses thus, “The man is become as one of us, to know good and evil”. The devil is wise. The devil knows well that, if Adam eats that fruit, he cannot get the fruit of the tree of life. Had Adam eaten the fruit of the Tree of life he would not have died. The death he had experienced was a spiritual death. Today, if fruit of the tree of life were given to all churches and institutions, how its state would have been? If the fruit of tree of life had been in possession of the Roman Catholic Church what would have the higher officials of the Roman Catholic Church done? The Church which said that you should get the tickets or slips for remission of sins, if you wish your sins were forgiven, would have estimated the price of the fruit of the tree of life, according to the capacity of buying this fruit. Similarly, other churches also would have determined the price of the fruit with the things of this earth. Knowing that such a situation like that will come in future, the Lord had taken the tree of life from the Garden of Eden and had put it in Paradise. Now the tree of life is in Paradise. Paradise is a place where the saints are waiting for judgement.
Since Adam had eaten the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, he became wise to know what is good and what is evil. The wisdom that informed him to transgress the thing which the Lord had forbidden was the wisdom against the heaven. If Adam had been filled perfectly with the wisdom sent from heaven, he would have eaten the fruit of the tree of life. Because of the transgression of Adam, the tree of life was taken away from there. The teaching of the devil is always against the teaching of the truth. The wisdom sent from above said, “In the day you eat it, you shall surely die”. Eve ate. Adam too ate. This wisdom which is against the truth is the wisdom of the devil. That wisdom was given from the second heaven. Since Adam paid heed to that wisdom, he was driven out from the garden of the Lord.
Dear beloved in Christ, the wisdom sent from heaven was a wisdom that could open the eyes of knowledge (wisdom) in order to eat the fruit of the tree of life. The wisdom of satan gives earthly, sensual and devilish wisdom. It will make you lose the worthiness of eating the fruit of the tree of life. That day, in the Garden of Eden, there was the tree of life which could give fruits of life. Its fruits were so near that Adam could take them. But today, that tree of life which was taken from the Garden of Eden, is kept in the paradise.
In Rev.2: 7 it is said like this:
“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.”
Paradise is in the third heaven.
In Rev.22: 2 it is said like this:
“In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”
The tree of life which was in the Garden of Eden would be brought into the Kingdom of heaven after the judgement. The fruit which was so near in Eden that Adam could put forth his hand will be in again heaven so near that one can put forth his hand. We read in the Bible, about a person who went to Paradise and came back.
In 2 Corin. 12: 2 - 4 it is said like this:
“I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.
And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)
How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.”
Paul, the apostle went upto the third heaven and returned. He has said that he could not tell whether he was in the body or whether out of the body.
This time, we are now living is the time of grace. This is a time of grace given to the Gentiles. To people of all of this earth, this eighth day is a time of grace. After this, this earth is going to face tribulation and great tribulation. Now even if the earth suffers afflictions, it is just like the day comes after night. It is like a situation in which sorrows turn into joys. Time of tribulation and the time of great tribulation will be a time of affliction and pain to the people who live on this earth. After the time of tribulation and time of great tribulation are over, there will be the open coming of the Lord. After that, the surface of the earth will be burnt with fire. After that, there will be held the Reign of One thousand years. Only after that, this earth will be totally destroyed. After all these things, the judgement and the condemnation (i.e. punishment) will take place. After the judgement and the condemnation are over, the tree of life will be taken from Paradise into Heaven.
We have seen that two kinds of wisdom were revealed to Adam who was in the Garden of Eden.
They are
The wisdom that was sent from heaven enabled Adam to be united with the Lord and to walk with him.
The wisdom of the devil made Adam leave the Lord. It made him lose the grace of eating the fruit of the tree of life.
Even today, the tree of knowledge of good and evil is still on this earth. Just as Adam, by his transgression ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil and fell, today satan by the same incident is making the souls fall down. Christians may think like this. If I were in the Garden of Eden like Adam I would not have eaten the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. If I were in the time of Noah I would have gone into the ark along with Noah. If I had been in the days when Jesus Christ came in flesh, I would have been with Jesus Christ. One may speak like this for the sake of argument. But by the Word it is not like that. Even today, the dragon is deceiving the Christians who have souls not allowing them to eat the fruit of the tree of life. The dragon is making them lose the grace which they have got.
In 2 Corin. 11: 3 it is said like this:
“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.”
That day, the serpent deceived Eve. Today, the dragon is deceiving the Christians who have souls. Therefore, Paul the apostle says that he is afraid that their minds may somehow be led astray from their sincere devotion to Christ. What is sincere devotion to Christ? Today, each church has its own doctrines within itself. One group of people says that He is the Son of God. Another group of people witnesses, “We are they who search for Jehovah”. We do not seek the Son. We are ‘witnesses for Jehovah’. Like this, each church is working with different doctrines today.
Dear beloved in Christ, the Word does not say to us, the Christians to be witnesses for Jehovah. The Commandment was given to the Israelites to be witnesses for Jehovah. Since the Israelites had denied the name of the Lord, called Jehovah, by their deeds, the law was changed and we, the Gentiles have got grace in the name, called the Lord Jesus Christ. We read in the Acts of the Apostles that “We should be witnesses unto Christ” (Acts 1:8). The Word witnesses, “When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you shall receive power and shall be witnesses unto Jesus Christ”. Churches of today are giving different kinds of teachings. But, among these churches, not even one church is witnessing the mind of Jesus Christ. They are doing the deeds of making the believers leave from the sincere devotion to Christ. Doing this kind of deeds is the devilish wisdom.
When Jesus Christ was in flesh, one kind of wisdom, made the Jews leave from the sincere devotion to Christ. Although John the Baptist witnessed, “Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the World” and Simeon witnessed, “Father, my eyes have seen thy salvation” and although the apostles witnessed, “You are the Christ, Son of the living God, the Jews did not accept Jesus. The Jews denied his Word by seeing his fleshy body and said, “Is he not the Carpenter? Is he not the son of Joseph? Is not his mother called Mary? And his brothers and sisters are they not all with us? The Jews, who were deceived that they were not allowed to know the truth about Jesus Christ, witnessed against the Word. Their eyes were so blind that they could not know what kind of wisdom with which they were given. Reason, the wisdom that was given to them was the devilish wisdom. The Lord seeing them witnessed, “You are of your father the devil” (John 8: 44). But they replied, “We are not of the devil. We have only one father. We have only one dad. Abraham is our father. We are the descendants of Abraham, “Christians of today are also saying like this. They say, “We are Christians. We go to church and worship in the Sunday service every week without fail. We sit in the first row in the church. We give tithes correctly. We come forward and do any work of the church. Therefore, the devil does not come near us. It seems that they confess that they are not of the devil.
Dear beloved in Christ, today the work of the dragon is to deceive the Christians. According to the Word, it is the enemy, the devil who deceives the people who have souls and changes them into those who are ordained for condemnation. The devil is the tempter. He is working as a dissembler by preventing the one who has a soul from eating the fruit of the tree of life. Just as the serpent made Eve beguiled and Adam fall, the devil throws the dissembling net to make the Christians with the souls fall down. The dragon has nothing to do with the matters of the natural man who has no soul.
Taking the gospel to the natural men who have no souls and who were created on the sixth day, is not the purpose of this ministry. This ministry is the voice which gives the Word as a warning so that the one who is like Adam may not lose his soul.
In Rev. 20:2 it is said like this:
“And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,”
You just see how many names are mentioned. Devil, satan, serpent and dragon as according to his deeds and times he is given names and is called. That day, the serpent which deceived Eve is working in the churches as a dragon. After the fulfillment of the times of seven Churches, dragon brings the Churches under his control.
The cunning strategy of the dragon is to deceive the souls and cause them to leave from their “sincere devotion to Christ”. It is doing the same deeds even today. It is causing them to leave from the sincere devotion to Christ.
WHO IS CHRIST?
1 Corinthians 15: 45, 47, it is said like this:
“And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.”
The Lord breathed His living breath into Adam and into his seeds, grace was given to form an inner man called soul. A very great grace was given to the seed of Adam, which was not given to other men who were created on the sixth day. Only to that seed of Adam the inheritance called ‘Heaven’ was given. The grace which was given to Adam was given to Abraham and later to his seeds called the Israelites. This is the Old Testament.
We all, the Gentiles are the children of the Last Adam. We have become children to the last Adam through the quickening spirit. The children of the Last Adam are the Christians. The dragon is working its deeds in order to deceive the Christians.
The first Adam was the Adam created in flesh. The Last Adam is the Lord Jesus Christ. We are all generated in Christ. We are the children of Christ. But as many as received Him, to them he gave power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name (I John 1:12). This is the spiritual happening. This is not done by flesh. But now this happening is becoming flesh. If you ask someone, “Why are you Christians?” He says, “My dad is a Christian; my mother is a Christian and so I am a Christian”. This is the answer of majority of people. The spiritual relationship has become a fleshy (physical) relationship today.
In Gen. 2: 7 it is said like this:
“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”
There was no soul in the men who lived before Adam. Therefore, the devil did not do any work against them.
Dear beloved in Christ, as we all confess the name of the Last Adam, we are the children of the Last Adam. As we have received Him by believing on His name, we are His children. Jehovah has no adopted children. The children of Jehovah are the Israelites. Those works or deeds were already fulfilled. Moses bore witness to the name Jehovah. All those are Old Testament.
In Ephesians 2: 13 it is said like this:
“But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.”
We all the Gentiles were like men and women created on the sixth day. Then grace was not commanded to us to take part in the heritage called ‘heaven’. Now in Christ Jesus, we who sometimes were far off are made nigh (close) by the blood of Jesus Christ. The blood is life. By the blood of Jesus Christ we have become His children. In the time of the Old Testament, we could never enter into the temple of the Lord of the Israelites. There, the place allotted to the Gentiles was the outer courtyard. The Gentiles were not allowed to go into the inner courtyard. Into the sanctuary, the priests went to offer sacrifice. After that there was the most holy place. Only the High Priest was allowed to enter into the most holy place. Sometimes we who were far off are made nigh (near) by the blood of Christ. We who were far off to the heritage, called heaven, are made nearby by the blood of Jesus Christ.
In Acts 20:28 it is said like this:
“Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.”
The Bible says that the Lord has purchased the Church with His own blood.
In 1John 5:11 it is said like this:
“And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.”
Eternal Life has been commanded to us the Gentiles only through the name the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible says that this life is in His Son. No other name except the name of the Lord Jesus Christ has been commanded to the Gentiles to give Eternal Life. His blood has given us life. The Word witnesses that the life of all flesh is the blood.
In Levit. 17:14 it is said like this:
“For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.”
The blood is not only the life of flesh; it is for the Life thereof. The blood of Jesus Christ gave Life to us. The blood is the life for flesh. This life forms another life. Likewise, the blood of Jesus Christ has formed an inner man within us. We are not generated by flesh by the Last Adam. We are generated by the life of His Word.
In 2Corin. 11: 3 it is said like this:
“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.”
Sincere devotion about Christ is, the truth about the Word.
Dear beloved in Christ, the wisdom that comes from heaven is the wisdom that enables us to know the truth about Christ. This wisdom comes from teaching. The Bible witnesses about the two kinds of teachings.
1 The teaching that gives wisdom granted from heaven.
2 The teaching about the devilish wisdom (James 3: 15).
As the devil gave a perverse (froward) teaching in the Garden of Eden, even today, he is doing his perverse deeds on this earth where there is the tree of knowledge of good and evil. That day, the tree of knowledge of good and evil was in the Garden of Eden. Today, it is in the Christianity which is the garden of the Lord all over the earth. This tree of knowledge of good and evil, today, has spread (put forth) its branches all over the earth. This tree of the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil is now in the garden called Christianity which is living widely spread all over the World. This fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil is doing dishonest deeds.
We sing without knowing the meaning of the songs. This song is sung from time immemorial. We sing this song thinking that we are blessing the bride and the bridegroom in their marriage.
“The voice that breathed o’er Eden
That earliest wedding day
The primal marriage blessing
It hath not passed away”
Did any blessing come, when that earliest wedding in Eden came about? We, who sing, sing without knowing the truth. What did happen when the earliest wedding in Eden took place? Until that union (marriage) was held, Adam was one who had been ordained for Eternal Life. But that which happened after that wedding, caused him to become one ordained for condemnation (punishment).
When the Roman Catholic Church arose, its reign was higher. When it was like that, the Lord kindled the spirit of Martin Luther. Today, so many believers of the Protestant church do not know how the Roman Catholic Church people tortured Martin Luther and his people who were with him. Even very little children were thrown into fire. Reason, one can never inherit the heaven by giving money. As Martin Luther witnessed that the absolution of sins is possible only by the blood of Jesus Christ and not by money, the violent drunkenness occurred. The flesh of the Lord is the bread; worshipping that is also idolatry; Martin Luther said that and opposed it. The spirit of Martin Luther was kindled and awakened like that on that day; because, Martin Luther was also an angel among the angels of seven churches. The truth of that day was that one should come out of the Roman Catholic Church. Only those who came out of the rule of the Roman Catholic Church ate the fruit of the Tree of Life on that day.
After that, out of the Protestant Church, spiritual churches namely Pentecostal organizations came up. Only when they came up, spiritual intervention was proclaimed. When there was no spiritual mind that Pentecostal structures rose up. That day, only to the people who were connected with the Pentecostal structures the fruit of the tree of life was given. It was the truth of that day. The Protestants’ church was formed in the 15th century. After that, from the Protestants’ church other spiritual churches came up. When people were ignorant of the Holy Spirit, the Lord awakened the spiritual people. Then Pentecostal movements rose up; at that time, there was no truth in the Roman Catholic Church too. There was no truth in the Protestants’ Church either. Those who had known the truth got fellowship with the Pentecostal Movements.
After that, the church which proclaimed about the ‘name’ came up. At that time Pentecostal Movements said that they were Spiritual Movements and started sending some spirit into their believers. Therefore, the 7th church which proclaimed about the ‘name’ came up. The name of the Lord is the Lord Jesus Christ. For us, who are Gentiles to God who created heaven and earth, the name that was commanded was the Lord Jesus Christ. Get baptism in this name. That name gave a call to make your wisdom clear. Baptism is one that makes your wisdom clear. Baptism is not a mere bathing or washing. It should make your wisdom clear. It should give the wisdom of knowing the knowledge of Lord. That day, this truth was proclaimed by the church which could give importance to the name. That day, they were truths. But, today they are all the words which have been fulfilled. In that case, which is Word related to the present time? Who is he that prevents you from knowing that Word? He, who told lies against truth on that day, was telling lies against truth in the time of each church. All the churches agree that the liar and the father of lies deceived Adam that day. The truth that was told to Adam, on that day, was that, if he ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, he would surely die. Because of his mind which was carnal, Adam became one ordained for death.
Like wise, in each stage of time, the devil has been telling lies against the truth. In the days of Noah, the earth in which he had been living never saw rain. Destruction by great floods, which was announced to those people who lived that day, appeared to be strange. Noah brought the truth. But, a very big crowd of people never accepted the truth. The people who accepted the truth were, only Noah and the members of his family.
After that, the time of the Law came. After that time was fulfilled, the days when Jesus Christ revealed Himself in flesh, followed. That day Jesus Christ Himself was truth. But the Jews of that day did not accept Him. The Gentiles accepted Him. As the Gentiles had accepted, the Lord has commanded us the grace into Christians. One large gathering of people who had no grace to eat the fruit of the tree of life, received His grace, since that time to eat the fruit of the tree of life. In each stage of time the devil has been telling the lies against the truth. He tells it from his wisdom and has been deceiving the souls. As said in the Book of Revelations, the times of seven churches have been fulfilled now. We are now living in a time which is very near to the secret coming of Jesus Christ.
After the secret coming, there will be tribulation to the Christians who will live on this earth. Scientific scholars say that some great event is going to happen. They say that the earth is slowly moving away from its circuit by degrees. Holes are caused in the Ozone layer. Therefore, some great disaster is coming towards the earth. This is accepted by all. Before the earth is going to face its tribulation, Christ is going to take His bride secretly from the world. That is the time of the evening of the 8th day.
In Rev. 18:4 it is said like this:
“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”
Before the secret coming, Babylon shall become a dwelling place of dragons. It shall become the habitation of the devils and the hold of every foul spirit. These are spoken as prophecies. Today, they are being fulfilled. A call will be given to come out of all the Churches, which are portrayed as Babylon which follow the fulfilled doctrines of seven Churches. At what second, the secret coming of Jesus Christ comes, the very next second to it, the dragon and his angels will be thrown down on this earth. The very next second, after the dragon and his angels are thrown down on this earth, this earth will face a dire crisis. The Bible witnesses that tribulation will be caused. One, who is telling lies and has been deceiving the living souls in order to stop knowing the True Way, is changing his steps.
In Prov. 5: 6 it is said like this:
“Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them.”
In Rev.17:5 it is said like this:
“And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”
To the people who are going take part in His reign of Millenium, the Lord witnesses that there must be two requirements. They are spoken as prophecies.
In Rev. 20: 4 it is said like this:
“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”
The bride, who is going to be taken in the secret coming, are the Gentiles, namely, the Christians who have placed their faith on His name. They are the sheep who are on his right hand side. These sheep - will be the people,
1) Who were beheaded for the witness of Jesus and for the Word of God.
2) Who had not received the mark of the beast.
The Bible is a Book of Truth written in order to say what kind of deeds a man who has a soul should do to inherit the eternal life. It relates the histories of events of those people who have got Eternal Life by doing what kind of deeds and those people who have got condemnation by doing what kind of deeds. These have been foretold as prophecies. The Bible is not a moral book written in order to moralise a man into flesh.
In Prov. 6:23 it is said like this:
“For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:”
There is light in the Scriptures. The Scriptures show us the right light. It shows the way, for the man who has a soul, to go. The reproofs of instruction are the way of life. The instruction of the Holy Spirit leads us in the way of life. There are two kinds of instruction (teaching). One is the teaching given by the wisdom sent from heaven. That is the instruction of the Holy Spirit. Another is the instruction of the devil. It has been foretold 2000 years back that in the later times some shall depart from the faith, giving lead to the devil and having their conscience seared with a hot iron. It is the Holy Spirit who reproves the froward things through the reproofs of instruction.
In John 16:8 it is said like this:
“And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:”
The fruit of the tree of life which is kept for those who are ordained for Life, is in the paradise. If one eats it, there is no death for him. If the soul should continue in immortal state, one should eat the fruit of the tree of life. Will all the people who take the Bible in their hands, get the fruit of the tree of life to eat? No, they will not. The Word witnesses that the fruit of the tree of life will be given to the people of three characteristics.
In Rev.17: 14 it is said like this:
“I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.”
1) At first they must be chosen people - only to those chosen people the fruit of the tree of life will be given.
Those who are chosen are, they who are with the Lamb. We, the Gentiles can enter into Eternal Life only through the Lamb Jesus Christ. We can never go into heaven through the name Jehovah.
In Acts 9: 17 it is said like this:
“And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost..”
Paul the apostle was the chosen vessel by the Lord. Likewise, except we are chosen by the Lord, we cannot eat the fruit of the tree of life.
In Romans 9: 11-13 it is said like this:
“(For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)
It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.
As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.”
The Lord chose Jacob. This election took place before the foundation of the world. Only the chosen people will eat the fruit of the tree of life. The devil is one who will deceive even the chosen ones. This enemy will prevent the one who is ordained for life from eating the fruit of the tree of life. The chosen people will believe the Word. When Jesus Christ was revealed in flesh, those people who believed His words are the chosen ones. Those Israelites who did not believe His words were the unchosen ones.
In Acts 9: 3-6 it is said like this:
“And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.”
When Paul said, “Who are you Lord? He replied, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the pricks”. Immediately he said, “What will you have me to do?” Paul believed His words as they are. The chosen people will believe His words and accept them.
2) Next, those people whose names are written in the Book of Life shall eat the fruit of the tree of life.
In Rev.20:12 it is said like this:
“And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.”
Only those people whose names are written in the book of Life shall eat the fruit of the tree of life. Judgement is only for them. They are ordained for life. After the death of flesh, only those souls, whose names are written in the book of Life, shall go into paradise. The souls, whose names are not written in the Book of Life, shall go into Sheol.
In Rev.20:15 it is said like this:
“And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”
The souls whose names are not written in the Book of Life are fixed for condemnation or punishment. The souls, that are fixed for condemnation, will be thrown into the sea of fire burning with brimstone for the second death.
In Rev.21:27 it is said like this:
“And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.”
Only the names of the Christians pertaining to Life are written in the Book of Life of the Lamb. The names of the Christians written in the Book of Life of the Lamb are ordained for Life. They will not give heed to the doctrine of hypocrisy of the devil.
Idol is a doctrine of hypocrisy. It is a doctrine or teaching against the Word.
The people, whose names are written in the book of Life of the Lamb, will inherit the Kingdom of heaven. The fruit of the tree of life which is in paradise will be given to them whose names are written in the book of Life of the Lamb. The people who are chosen by the Lamb will believe the Word of the day.
The people whose names are written in the book of Life will not worship the dragon. They will not accept its power.
In Rev.13: 8 it is said like this:
“And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”
The souls whose names are not written in the Book of Life will worship the dragon.
In Rev.13: 2, 4 it is said like this:
“And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?”
Those people who take part in His Reign of Millenium along with Jesus Christ must have two eligibilities. We saw this in Revelations 20: 4.
FIRST ELIGIBILITY:
They must be the people who were beheaded for the witness of Jesus and for the Word of God. Can only they, who were killed for the sake of the Word, take part in the Reign of Millenium? Even though we are not killed, as martyrs, there is an alternate way to go to heaven. That is the second eligibility.
SECOND ELIGIBILITY:
They must be the people who had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, nor had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands.
The beast is the image of identification which the institutions and the churches give for their believers. These have been announced by the mysteries of the seven thunders. The beast will function with the power of the dragon. That image stands for the Church doctrines.
The kind of doctrines that were found in the Roman Catholic Church on that day, are still found in the churches that were born out of it - in the churches of Protestants, in the movements of Pentecostal, and in the churches that come later, giving importance to the name alone. The people whose names are written in the book of Life are not related to this category of churches of this earth. The image of the beast is not found in them. They are preparing for the Reign of Millenium. Their names are written in the book of Life. The fruit of the tree of life is ready for them.
Only those people who have the two eligibilities mentioned above will take part with Christ in the Reign of Millenium on this earth.
3) THIRDLY, ONLY THOSE PEOPLE WHO OVERCOME WILL EAT THE FRUIT OF THE TREE OF LIFE.
In Rev. 2: 7 it is said like this:
“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.”
At first, those people must be the chosen (elected) ones.
Secondly, the names of those people must be written in the Book of Life.
Thirdly, they must be the people who overcome. To overcome, they must abide in the Lord till the end.
In Rev. 3: 5 it is said like this:
“He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.”
White raiment stands for the justice of the saints. That justice is faith. Faith is justice. The seal of the Holy Spirit is the identification we receive by believing the Word of the Lord.
In Rev.12: 11 it is said like this:
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”
The Word witnesses that we have to do two things in order to overcome the (devil) enemy and enter into Life and eat the fruit of the tree of life.
1) Faith on the Word (The Lord Jesus Christ)
2) Faith on the blood (the Word which is sent for that day)
We can overcome the enemy by our faith on the Word of the Day which is sent from the Lord. One who abides in the Word till the end is ordained for life. He is chosen by the Lord to eat the fruit of the tree of life.
Being chosen is a very great boon or gift commanded by the grace of the Lord.
May the Lord Himself grant you His grace to eat the fruit of the tree of life!

கர்த்தரின் தோட்டத்தில் நாட்டப்பட்டுள்ள ஜீவ விருட்சத்தினைக் குறித்து பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் வெளிப்படுத்தியவற்றினை இங்கே காண்போம். தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்திற்குள் பிரவேசிக்கக் கிருபை பெற்ற ஆத்துமாக்கள், இந்த விருட்சத்தின் கனியினைப் புசிப்பார்கள். இந்த ஜீவ விருட்சத்தின் கனியினைப் புசிக்கும் ஆத்துமாக்கள் மரிப்பதில்லை. இந்த ஜீவ விருட்சம் ஆதியில் எங்கே இருந்தது?
ஆதி. 3: 23, 24-ல் இவ்விதமாகக் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது:
"அவன் எடுக்கப்பட்ட மண்ணைப் பண்படுத்த தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் அவனை ஏதேன் தோட்டத்திலிருந்து அனுப்பிவிட்டார்.
அவர் மனுஷனைத் துரத்திவிட்டு, ஜீவவிருட்சத்துக்குப்போம் வழியைக் காவல்செய்ய ஏதேன் தோட்டத்துக்குக் கிழக்கே கேரூபீன்களையும், வீசிக்கொண்டிருக்கிற சுடரொளி பட்டயத்தையும் வைத்தார்."
ஆதாமின் நாட்களில் இந்த ஜீவவிருட்சம் ஏதேன் தோட்டத்தில் இருந்தது என்று வேதம் சாட்சியிடுகின்றது. தேவன் எல்லாவற்றையும் உருவாக்கினார். ஆறுநாள் வரையிலும் சகலத்தினையும் சிருஷ்டித்தார். அப்படியாகச் சிருஷ்டிக்கப்பட்ட சிருஷ்டிப்புகளுக்குள் ஜீவனைக் கொடுக்கக்கூடிய இந்த விருட்சம் இல்லை. ஜீவனைக் கொடுக்கக்கூடிய கனியினையுடைய இந்த விருட்சத்தினைக் கர்த்தர் எட்டாம் நாளில் உருவாக்கினார். எட்டாம் நாளில் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட மனிதன் புசிப்பதற்காக ஜீவனுக்குரிய கனியினைக் கொடுக்கும் இந்த ஜீவ விருட்சத்தினைக் கர்த்தர் உருவாக்கினார். தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உருவாக்கிய ஜீவவிருட்சத்தின் கனியினை, ஆறாம் நாளில் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட மனிதன் புசிக்கத் தடை செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தது. அந்த ஜீவவிருட்சமானது ஆறாவது நாளில் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட மனிதர்களுடைய குடியிருப்பினில் நாட்டப்படவில்லை. அது எட்டாம் நாளில் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட ஆத்துமா கொண்ட மனிதனான ஆதாம் அமர்த்தப்பட்ட ஏதேன் என்னும் கர்த்தருடைய தோட்டத்தில் நாட்டப்பட்டது. இந்த விருட்சத்தின் கனி, பூமிக்குரிய ஈவுகளைப் புசித்துப் பூமியில் தங்களது பலனைப் பெற்று, மண்ணோடு மண்ணாகும் ஆறாம் நாளின் சிருஷ்டிகளாகிய ஜென்ம சுபாவத்தாருக்குக் கட்டளையிடப்படவில்லை.
மரம், செடி, கொடி போன்ற எல்லாவற்றையும் உருவாக்கியவர் தேவன். அவைகள் கனிகளைக் கொடுத்தன. அந்தக் கனிகள் எல்லாவற்றையும் ஆறாம் நாள் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட மனிதன் புசித்தான். அது அவனுக்குத் தடைசெய்யப்படவில்லை. அந்தக் கனிகள் விஷத்தன்மையினையுடைய கனிகளாக இருந்தாலும், அவைகள் அவர்களுக்குத் தடைசெய்யப்படவில்லை. சகல விருட்சங்களின் கனிகளையும் எந்தத் தன்மையில் வேண்டுமானாலும் அவர்கள் புசிக்கலாம். அது அவர்களுக்குத் தடை செய்யப்படவில்லை.
ஜீவ விருட்சமானது ஆறு நாள் வரையிலும் தேவன் சிருஷ்டித்த சிருஷ்டிப்புகளில் உருவாக்கப்படவில்லை. எட்டாம் நாளில் ஜெநிப்பிக்கப்பட்ட ஆத்துமா கொண்ட ஆதாமிற்காக இந்த ஜீவ விருட்சம் உருவாக்கப்பட்டது. எனவே, அந்த விருட்சம் ஏதேன் தோட்டத்தில் வைக்கப்பட்டது. ஆறு நாள்வரை சிருஷ்டிக்கப்பட்ட சிருஷ்டிப்புகளுடைய காரியத்தினில் எந்தவொரு காரியத்தினையும் தேவன் தடைசெய்யவில்லை. இந்தவகை விருட்சத்தின் கனிகளைப் புசியுங்கள், இந்தவித விருட்சத்தின் கனிகளைப் புசிக்காதீர்கள் என்று கட்டளை இடப்படவில்லை. ஆறு நாள்வரை தேவன் சிருஷ்டித்த எல்லா சிருஷ்டிப்புகளையும் மனிதனிடம் கொடுத்து, நீங்கள் எல்லாவற்றையும் புசியுங்கள், இவைகள் எல்லாவற்றையும் நீங்கள் அனுபவித்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள் என்றே கட்டளையிட்டார். ஆறாம் நாளில் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட மனிதனுக்கு, ஆறு நாள் வரையிலும் சிருஷ்டிக்கப்பட்டவைகளைப் பூரணமாய் அனுபவிக்க உரிமை கொடுக்கப்பட்டது. அவன் எந்தக் கனியினை வேண்டுமானாலும் புசிக்கலாம், அவன் எந்த இடத்தில் வேண்டுமானாலும் இருக்கலாம், எப்படியான வஸ்திரங்களை வேண்டுமானாலும் உடுத்திக் கொள்ளலாம். அவன் எப்படி வேண்டுமானாலும் தன் தலைமுடியினைக் கத்தரிக்கலாம், மொட்டையடித்துக் கொள்ளலாம். அந்த ஸ்திரீகள் எப்படி வேண்டுமானாலும் தங்கள் வஸ்திரத்தினை உடுத்திக்கொள்ளலாம். அந்த ஸ்திரீகள் எந்தக் கூட்டங்களிலும் செய்தி என்ற ஒன்றை கொண்டுவந்து கூறலாம். இது அவர்களுக்குத் தடைசெய்யப்படவில்லை. அவர்கள் எதை வேண்டுமானாலும் புசிக்கலாம், எதை வேண்டுமானாலும் பேசலாம், எப்படி வேண்டுமானாலும் இருக்கலாம். அங்கே எதுவும் தடைசெய்யப்படவில்லை. தடைசெய்யப்பட்ட இடம் ஏதேன் தோட்டம்; தடை செய்யப்பட்ட இடம் கர்த்தரின் தோட்டம். ஏதேன் தோட்டத்தில் இருந்த ஆதாமிற்கும், ஆதாமோடு இருந்தவர்களுக்கும்தான் அங்கே ஒரு காரியம் தடை செய்யப்பட்டது. நன்மை தீமை அறியத்தக்க விருட்சத்தின் கனி அன்று அங்கே தடை செய்யப்பட்டது. அங்கே கர்த்தர் ஒரு பிரமாணத்தினைக் கட்டளையிட்டார். அந்தப் பிரமாணம், நீ இவைகளைச் செய் என்றும், இவைகளைச் செய்யாதே என்றும் கட்டளையிட்டது. பிரமாணத்திற்குரிய இடத்தில்தான் ஜீவ விருட்சம் வைக்கப்பட்டது.
கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் அருமையானவர்களே, ஆதாம் என்ற ஆத்துமா கொண்ட மனிதன் எட்டாம் நாளில் உருவாக்கப்பட்டான். எட்டாம் நாள் விருத்தசேதனத்தின் நாள்; அது கர்த்தருக்குரிய நாள். அந்த நாளில் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட மனிதன் ஆதாம். ஆதாமிற்குள் கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய ஜீவ சுவாசத்தினை ஊதினார், மனிதன் ஜீவாத்துமா ஆனான் என்று வேதம் கூறுகின்றது (ஆதி. 2: 7). ஜீவ விருட்சத்தின் கனியானது, ஆத்துமா கொண்ட மனிதன் நித்திய ஜீவனைப் பெற்றுக் கொள்வதற்காகக் கட்டளையிடப்பட்டது. ஆறாம் நாள் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட மனிதனுக்கு இப்படியான ஒரு கிருபை கட்டளையிடப்படவில்லை. ஏனென்றால் ஆறாம் நாளில் சிருஷ்டிக்கப்பட்ட மனிதனுக்குள் ஜீவன் இல்லை. இந்த ஜீவன் ஆத்துமாவாகும்.
கர்த்தர் தன்னுடைய ஜீவ சுவாசத்தினை ஆதாமிற்குள் ஊதினார். கர்த்தரின் ஜீவ சுவாசம் அவனுக்குள் ஊதப்பட்டபோது அங்கே ஆவிக்குரிய ஒரு நிகழ்வு ஏற்பட்டு ஆத்துமா ஜெநிப்பிக்கப்பட்டது. ஆத்துமா கொண்டவனுக்குத்தான் ஒரு காரியத்தினைத் தடை செய்தும், ஒரு காரியத்தினைச் செய்யும்படியாயும் கட்டளையிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. ஆத்துமா பெற்றவன் மரணம் என்ற அழிவினை அடையாமல் இருப்பதற்காக ஜீவ விருட்சத்தின் கனி கட்டளையிடப்பட்டது. ஆத்துமா பெற்றவர்களுக்குள்ளாகத்தான் ஒரு ஒழுங்கினைக் கர்த்தர் கொண்டுவருகின்றார்; ஒரு நீதியினைக் கர்த்தர் கொண்டுவருகின்றார். அவர்களுக்காக வார்த்தையினைக் கொடுக்கின்றார். அன்று அந்த வார்த்தை, நீ இந்தத் தோட்டத்திலுள்ள எந்த விருட்சத்தின் கனியினை வேண்டுமானாலும் புசிக்கலாம்; ஆனால் நன்மை தீமை அறியத்தக்கதாய் இருக்கக்கூடிய இந்த விருட்சத்தின் கனியினை மாத்திரம் புசிக்காதே என்பதாய் இருந்தது.
ஒரு காரியத்தினை நாம் ஏற்கனவே பார்த்தோம், ஆறாம் நாள் உருவாக்கப்பட்டவன் ஆத்துமா இல்லாதவன். ஆத்துமா இல்லாதவனுக்குப் பிரமாணம் கொடுக்கப்படவில்லை. உதாரணமாக எடுத்துக் கொண்டால், நாம் இந்தியனாக இருக்கின்றோம். நமக்கென்று இந்திய சட்டங்கள் (Fundamental Rule) இருக்கின்றது. அது இப்படித்தான் ஒரு இந்தியன் இருக்கவேண்டும் என்று வரையறுக்கின்றது. இந்த சட்டதிட்டம், இந்த நாட்டினை விட்டு வெளியே சென்றால் இந்திய பிரஜையினை அது கட்டுப்படுத்தாது. அவன் எந்த நாட்டில் இருக்கின்றானோ, அந்த நாட்டில் உள்ள சட்டதிட்டம் அவனைக் கட்டுப்படுத்தும். 8-ம் நாளில் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட மனிதனிடத்தில் ஒரு நியமனத்தினைக் கர்த்தர் கட்டளையிட்டார். அது, நீ இந்த விருட்சத்தின் கனியினைப் புசிக்காதே என்பதாகும். ஏன் அந்த விருட்சத்தின் கனி அங்கே தடை செய்யப்பட்டது?
ஆதி. 2: 16, 17-ல் இவ்விதமாகக் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது:
"தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் மனுஷனை நோக்கி: நீ தோட்டத்திலுள்ள சகல விருட்சத்தின் கனியையும் புசிக்கவே புசிக்கலாம்.
ஆனாலும் நன்மைதீமை அறியத்தக்க விருட்சத்தின் கனியைப் புசிக்கவேண்டாம்; அதை நீ புசிக்கும் நாளில் சாகவே சாவாய் என்று கட்டளையிட்டார்."
ஏதேன் தோட்டத்தில் இருந்த எல்லா விருட்சங்களின் கனிகளையும் ஆதாமோடு இருந்தவர்கள் புசிக்கலாம்; ஆனால் நன்மைதீமை அறியத்தக்க விருட்சத்தின் கனி மாத்திரம் அங்கே தடை செய்யப்பட்டது. புசிக்காதே என்ற ஒரு கட்டளை பிறப்பிக்கப்பட்டவுடன், அங்கே ஒருவன் வருகின்றான். அதுவரையிலும் அவனுடைய பங்கு அங்கே இல்லை. எல்லாவற்றையும் புசிக்கலாம் என்று கூறியபோது, அவனது பணி அங்கே ஆரம்பமாகவில்லை. ஒரு காரியத்தினை நீங்கள் தெளிவாகத் தெரிந்துகொள்ளவேண்டும். ஆத்துமா பெற்றிருப்பவனோடுதான் சத்துரு போராடுவான். அவன் சோதனைக்காரன். ஆத்துமா இல்லாதவனைப் பற்றிய காரியம் சோதனைக்குரிய காரியம் அல்ல. அது மாமிசத்திற்குரிய காரியமாகும்.
ஆத்துமா இல்லாத மாமிச சரீரத்தினை வஞ்சிப்பது பிசாசினுக்குரியதல்ல. ஆத்துமாவினை ஜீவனுக்குரிய நிலையிலிருந்து மரணத்திற்குரியதாக மாற்றிட அவன் வஞ்சகனாகச் செயல்படுகின்றான். ஜீவ விருட்சத்தின் கனியினைப் புசிப்பதற்குரிய கிருபையினைத் தட்டிப் பறிப்பவனாகத்தான் அவன் ஏதேன் தோட்டத்தில் செயல்பட்டான்.

"பின்பு தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்: இதோ, மனுஷன் நன்மை தீமை அறியத்தக்கவனாய் நம்மில் ஒருவரைப்போல் ஆனான்; இப்பொழுதும் அவன் தன் கையை நீட்டி ஜீவவிருட்சத்தின் கனியையும் பறித்து, புசித்து, என்றைக்கும் உயிரோடிராதபடிக்குச் செய்யவேண்டும் என்று,"
ஆதாம் கர்த்தரால் தடை செய்யப்பட்ட நன்மை தீமை அறியத்தக்க விருட்சத்தின் கனியினைப் புசித்தான். பகலின் குளிர்ச்சியான வேளையில், ஆதாமோடு உலாவுவதற்காக ஏதேன் தோட்டத்திற்குள் கர்த்தர் வருகின்றார். நாம் சுவாசத்தினை ஊதினோமே, அந்த ஆத்துமா கொண்டவன் எப்படி இருக்கின்றான் என்று காண ஏதேன் தோட்டத்திற்குள் வருகின்றார். ஆனால் அவனோ அவருடைய சத்தத்தினைக் கேட்டு, அஞ்சி மற்ற விருட்சங்களின் நடுவில் ஒளிந்துகொள்கின்றான். கர்த்தர், ஆதாமே என்று கூப்பிடுகின்றார். அவன், நான் நிர்வாணியாய் இருக்கின்றேன் என்றான். நீ நிர்வாணி என்று உனக்கு அறிவித்தவன் யார்? நான் தடைசெய்த விருட்சத்தின் கனியினை நீ புசித்தாயோ? என்றார். தடை செய்யப்பட்ட நன்மைதீமை அறியத்தக்க விருட்சத்தின் கனியினை அவன் புசித்ததினால், ஜீவ விருட்சத்தின் கனி அங்கே அவனுக்குத் தடை செய்யப்பட்டது. வார்த்தை நிறைவேறியபின்னர், ஜீவ விருட்சம் பரதீசுக்குள் கொண்டுசெல்லப்பட்டது.
"அவன் தன் கையை நீட்டி…". கையினால் தொடுகின்ற உயரத்தில் இருக்கின்றபோதுதான் கை நீட்டிப் பறிக்க இயலும். பாருங்கள், ஜீவவிருட்சத்தின் கனி ஆதாமிற்கு எட்டாத உயரத்தில் இல்லை. ஆதாம் எட்டிப் பறிக்கக்கூடிய உயரத்தினில்தான் அது இருந்தது. ஜீவ விருட்சத்தின் கனியினைப் புசித்தால் மரணம் இல்லை. ஆத்துமா பெற்ற ஆதாம், தடை செய்யப்பட்ட நன்மை தீமை அறியத்தக்க விருட்சத்தின் கனியினைப் புசித்தபடியினால், ஜீவ விருட்சத்தின் கனி அவனுக்குத் தடை செய்யப்பட்டது. ஆத்துமா பெற்ற ஆதாம் மீறுதலுக்கு உள்ளானபடியினால், ஜீவ விருட்சத்தின் கனியினை அவனால் புசிக்கமுடியவில்லை. காரணம் நன்மை தீமை அறிதல். நன்மைதீமை அறிதல் என்றால் என்ன?
1 இரா. 3: 9-ல் இவ்விதமாகக் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது:
"ஆகையால் உமது ஜனங்களை நியாயம் விசாரிக்கவும், நன்மைதீமை இன்னதென்று வகையறுக்கவும், அடியேனுக்கு ஞானமுள்ள இருதயத்தைத் தந்தருளும்; ஏராளமாயிருக்கிற இந்த உமது ஜனங்களை நியாயம் விசாரிக்க யாராலே ஆகும் என்றான்."
நன்மைதீமை இன்னதென்று அறியச் செய்வது ஞானமாகும். இந்த ஞானத்தினை இரண்டுவிதமாக வேதம் வகுத்துக் கூறுகின்றது.
யாக். 3: 14, 15-ல் இவ்விதமாகக் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது:
"உங்கள் இருதயத்திலே கசப்பான வைராக்கியத்தையும் விரோதத்தையும் வைத்தீர்களானால், நீங்கள் பெருமைபாராட்டாதிருங்கள்; சத்தியத்திற்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பொய்சொல்லாமலுமிருங்கள்.
இப்படிப்பட்ட ஞானம் பரத்திலிருந்து இறங்கிவருகிற ஞானமாயிராமல், லௌகிக சம்பந்தமானதும், ஜென்மசுபாவத்துக்குரியதும், பேய்த்தனத்துக்கடுத்ததுமாயிருக்கிறது."
சத்தியத்திற்குச் சாட்சியிடுவது ஒருவகையான ஞானமாகவும், சத்தியத்திற்கு விரோதமாகப் பொய் கூறுவது வேறொரு வகையான ஞானமாகவும் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. சத்தியத்திற்கு மாறான ஞானத்தினைப் பேய்த்தனத்திற்கடுத்த ஞானம் என்று வார்த்தை சாட்சியிடுகின்றது.
கர்த்தர் ஒரு ஞானத்தினைக் கட்டளையிட்டுள்ளார். அது பரத்திலிருந்து அனுப்பப்படும் ஞானமாகும். பரத்திலிருந்து அனுப்பப்படும் ஞானமானது ஆதாமிற்கு ஒரு வார்த்தையினைக் கொடுத்தது. அது, நீ இந்தத் தோட்டத்திலுள்ள எல்லா விருட்சங்களின் கனியினையும் புசிக்கலாம்; ஆனால் நன்மை தீமை அறியத்தக்க விருட்சத்தின் கனியினை மாத்திரம் புசிக்கக் கூடாது எனவும், அதைப் புசிக்கும் நாளில் நீ சாகவே சாவாய் என்பதுவுமாகும். இது பரத்திலிருந்து வந்த ஞானம். அங்கே பேய்த்தனத்திற்கடுத்த ஞானம் கூறியது: நீ இதைப் புசிக்கின்ற நாளில் சாகவே சாவதில்லை, நீ தேவதூதரைப்போல மாறிவிடுவாய் என்பதாகும்.
மாமிசத்தின்படியாகச் சிந்தித்தால், பிசாசு ஏவாளிடம் கூறியவைகள் யாவும் உண்மையானவைகள்தான். நீ இதைப் புசிக்கின்ற நாளில் சாவதில்லை; தேவதூதர்களைப் போல் மாறுவாய் என்றுதான் பிசாசு கூறியது. ஆதாமும் ஏவாளும் அந்தக் கனியினைப் புசித்த நாளில் சாகவில்லை. அதன்பின்னர் இந்தப் பூமியில் குழந்தைகளைப் பெற்று அநேக ஆண்டுகள் உயிரோடு இருந்தார்கள். ஆனால், கர்த்தர் கூறிய மரணமானது ஆத்தும மரணமாகும்.

நன்மை தீமை அறியத்தக்க விருட்சத்தின் கனியினைப் புசித்து நம்மில் ஒருவனைப்போல் ஆனான் என்று வேதம் கூறுகின்றது. பிசாசு ஞானமுள்ளவன். ஆதாம் அந்தக் கனியினைப் புசித்ததால், ஜீவ விருட்சத்தின் கனியினை அவனால் பெறமுடியாது என்பதினை பிசாசு அறிவான். ஜீவ விருட்சத்தின் கனியினை ஆதாம் புசித்திருந்தால் மரணத்திற்குள்ளாயிருக்கமாட்டான். அவன் அடைந்த மரணம் ஆத்தும மரணமாகும். இன்று ஜீவ விருட்சத்தின் கனியானது ஸ்தாபனங்களுக்கும், சபைகளுக்கும் கொடுக்கப்பட்டால், அதன் நிலை எப்படியாயிருக்கும் என்று சற்று சிந்தித்துப் பாருங்கள். ஜீவ விருட்சத்தின் கனி ரோமன் கத்தோலிக்கத் திருச்சபையினில் இருந்திருக்குமேயானால், அந்த சபையின் மேலானவர்கள் என்ன செய்திருப்பார்கள்? பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்படவேண்டுமானால், பாவ மன்னிப்புச் சீட்டு வாங்கிக்கொள்ளுங்கள் என்று கூறிய அந்தத் திருச்சபை, இந்தக் கனியினைக் கிரயத்திற்கு வாங்குபவரின் தகுதிக்குத் தகுந்தாற்போல விலையினை நிர்ணயித்திருக்கும். அதுபோலவே, மற்ற சபைகளும் அதற்குரிய கிரயத்தினை இந்தப் பூமிக்குரிய காரியங்களினால் நிர்ணயம் செய்திருக்கும். இப்படியான ஒரு நிலை வரும் என்று தெரிந்துதானோ கர்த்தர் ஏதேன் தோட்டத்திலிருந்த ஜீவ விருட்சத்தினை பரதீசுக்கு எடுத்துச் சென்றுவிட்டார். அது இப்போது பரதீசியில் இருக்கின்றது. பரதீசு என்பது பரிசுத்தவான்கள் நியாயத்தீர்ப்பிற்காகக் காத்திருக்கும் ஸ்தலமாகும்.
நன்மை தீமை அறியத்தக்க விருட்சத்தின் கனியினைப் புசித்தபடியினால், ஆதாம் நன்மை தீமை அறியத்தக்க ஞானமுள்ளவன் ஆனான். கர்த்தர் தடை செய்திருந்த காரியத்தினை மீறும்படியாக அறிவித்த அந்த ஞானமானது பரத்திற்கு எதிரான ஞானமாகும். பரத்திலிருந்து அனுப்பப்பட்ட ஞானத்தினால் ஆதாம் பூரணப்பட்டிருந்தால், நித்திய ஜீவனைக் கொடுக்கக்கூடிய ஜீவ விருட்சத்தின் கனியினைப் புசித்திருப்பான். ஆதாமின் மீறுதலின் காரணமாக ஜீவ விருட்சம் அங்கிருந்து எடுக்கப்பட்டது. பிசாசின் போதனையானது சத்தியத்திற்கு மாறான போதனையாகவே இருக்கும். பரத்திலிருந்து அனுப்பப்பட்ட ஞானம் கூறியது, நீ புசிக்கின்ற நாளில் சாவாய் என்று. ஏவாள் புசித்தாள், ஆதாமும் புசித்தான். சத்தியத்திற்கு விரோதமான இந்த ஞானம் பிசாசின் ஞானமாகும். அது 2-ம் வானத்திலிருந்து கொடுக்கப்பட்ட ஞானமாகும். ஆதாம் அந்த ஞானத்திற்குச் செவிசாய்த்தபடியினால், கர்த்தரின் தோட்டத்திலிருந்து துரத்தப்பட்டான்.
கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் அருமையானவர்களே, பரத்திலிருந்து அனுப்பப்படும் ஞானமானது ஜீவ விருட்சத்தின் கனியினைப் புசிக்கத்தக்கவாறு அறிவுக் கண்களைத் திறக்கக்கூடிய ஞானமாகும். பிசாசிற்குரிய ஞானமானது, பேய்த்தனத்திற்கடுத்ததாகவும், லௌகிக சம்பந்தமானதாகவும், ஜென்ம சுபாவத்திற்குரியதாகவும் கொடுக்கப்படும் ஞானமாகும். அது ஜீவ விருட்சத்தின் கனியினைப் புசிக்கக்கூடிய தகுதியினை இழக்கச் செய்யும். அன்று ஜீவனுக்குரிய கனியினைக் கொடுக்கக்கூடிய ஜீவ விருட்சம் ஏதேன் தோட்டத்தில் இருந்தது. அதின் கனிகள் ஆதாம் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளக்கூடிய வகையில், மிகவும் சமீபத்தில் இருந்தது. ஆனால் இன்று ஏதேன் தோட்டத்திலிருந்து எடுத்துக் கொள்ளப்பட்ட ஜீவவிருட்சமானது பரதீசியில் இருக்கின்றது.

பரதீசி என்பது மூன்றாம் வானத்தில் இருக்கின்றது.

ஏதேன் தோட்டத்தில் இருந்த ஜீவவிருட்சமானது நியாயத்தீர்ப்பிற்குப் பின்னர் பரலோக ராஜ்யத்திற்குள் கொண்டு செல்லப்படும். ஏதேன் தோட்டத்தில் இருந்தபோது கைநீட்டிப் பறிக்கக்கூடிய அளவிற்கு அருகில் இருந்த அதன் கனியானது மீண்டும் பரதீசியில் கைநீட்டி பறிக்கக்கூடிய அளவிற்கு அருகில் இருக்கும். பரதீசுக்கு போய்வந்த ஒரு நபரைக்குறித்து வேதாகமத்தில் நாம் பார்க்கின்றோம்,

அந்த மனுஷன் பரதீசுக்குள் எடுக்கப்பட்டு, மனுஷர் பேசப்படாததும் வாக்குக்கெட்டாததுமாகிய வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்டானென்று அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்.
அவன் சரீரத்திலிருந்தானோ, சரீரத்திற்குப் புறம்பேயிருந்தானோ, அதை அறியேன்; தேவன் அறிவார்."
அப்போஸ்தலனாகிய பவுல் மூன்றாம் வானம்வரையிலும் சென்றுவந்தவர். சரீரத்தில் இருந்தேனோ, இல்லையோ என்பது தனக்கே தெரியாது என்று அவர் கூறியுள்ளார்.
நாம் ஜீவிக்கின்ற இந்தக் காலம் கிருபையின் காலமாகும். இது புறஜாதிகளுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கின்ற கிருபையின் காலமாகும். பூமி முழுவதற்குமே இந்த 8 -ம் நாளானது கிருபையின் காலமாகும். இதன்பின்னர் இந்தப் பூமியானது உபத்திரவத்தினையும், மகா உபத்திரவத்தினையும் சந்திக்கப்போகின்றது. இப்போது பூமியில் வேதனை ஏற்பட்டாலும், அது இரவு சென்று பகல் வருவதுபோல, துன்பம் மாறி இன்பம் ஏற்படும் சூழல் உள்ளது. உபத்திரவக் காலமும் மகா உபத்திரவக் காலமும் பூமியில் குடியிருப்பவர்களுக்கு வேதனையான காலமாகும். உபத்திரவக் காலமும், மகா உபத்திரவக் காலமும் கடந்த பின்னர் கர்த்தரின் பகிரங்க வருகை வரும். அதன் பின்னர் பூமியின் மேற்பரப்பு அக்கினியால் சுட்டெரிக்கப்படும். அதன் பின்னர் கிறிஸ்துவின் ஆயிரம் வருட அரசாட்சி இந்தப் பூமியில் நடக்கும். அதன்பின்னர்தான் இந்தப் பூமி முற்றிலுமாக அழிக்கப்படும். இவைகளுக்குப் பின்னர்தான் நியாயத்தீர்ப்பும், ஆக்கினைத்தீர்ப்பும் நிகழும். நியாயத்தீர்ப்பும் ஆக்கினைத்தீர்ப்பும் முடிந்தபின்னர் ஜீவ விருட்சமானது பரதீசியிலிருந்து பரலோகத்திற்குள் கொண்டுசெல்லப்படும்.
ஏதேன் தோட்டத்தில் இருந்த ஆதாமிற்கு இரண்டுவிதமான ஞானம் வெளிப்படுத்தப்பட்டது என்று பார்த்தோம். அவைகள்:-
1. பரத்திலிருந்து அனுப்பப்பட்ட ஞானம்
2. பிசாசுக்குரிய ஞானம்
பரத்திலிருந்து அனுப்பப்பட்ட ஞானம் ஆதாமினைக் கர்த்தரோடு இணைந்திருக்கவும், கர்த்தரோடு உலாவி வரவும் செய்தது.
பிசாசிற்குரிய ஞானமானது கர்த்தரை விட்டு விலகச் செய்தது. அது ஜீவ விருட்சத்தின் கனியினைப் புசிப்பதற்கான கிருபையினை இழக்கச் செய்தது.
இன்றும் நன்மை தீமை அறியத்தக்க இந்த விருட்சமும் பூமியில்தான் இருக்கின்றது. ஆதாம் மீறுதலினால் நன்மை தீமை அறியத்தக்க விருட்சத்தின் கனியினைப் புசித்து விழுந்து போனதுபோன்று இன்றும் பிசாசானவன் ஆத்துமாக்களை அதே நிகழ்வின் மூலம் விழச் செய்துகொண்டிருக்கின்றான். இப்படியாகக்கூடக் கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் சிந்திக்கலாம், நான் ஆதாமினைப் போன்று ஏதேன் தோட்டத்தில் இருந்திருந்தேனேயானால், நன்மை தீமை அறியத்தக்க விருட்சத்தின் கனியினைப் புசித்திருக்கமாட்டேன் என்றும், நோவாவின் காலத்தில் இருந்திருந்தால் நோவாவோடு சேர்ந்து பேழைக்குள் சென்றிருப்பேன் என்றும், இயேசு கிறிஸ்து மாமிசத்தில் வந்த நாட்களில் இருந்திருந்தால், இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவோடுதான் இருந்திருப்பேன் என்றும் கூறலாம். வாதத்திற்காக வேண்டுமானால் இப்படிப் பேசலாம்; ஆனால் வார்த்தையின்படியாக அப்படியில்லை. ஜீவ விருட்சத்தின் கனியினைப் புசிக்கவிடாதபடிக்கு ஆத்துமா பெற்ற கிறிஸ்தவர்களை வலுசர்ப்பமானது இன்றும் வஞ்சித்துக்கொண்டுதான் இருக்கின்றது; அவர்கள் பெற்றுள்ள கிருபையினை இழக்கச் செய்துகொண்டிருக்கின்றது.
2 கொரி. 11: 3-ல் இவ்விதமாகக் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது:
"ஆகிலும், சர்ப்பமானது தன்னுடைய தந்திரத்தினாலே ஏவாளை வஞ்சித்தது போல, உங்கள் மனதும் கிறிஸ்துவைப் பற்றிய உண்மையினின்று விலகும்படி கெடுக்கப்படுமோவென்று பயந்திருக்கிறேன்."
சர்ப்பம் அன்று ஏவாளை வஞ்சித்தது. வலுசர்ப்பமானது இன்று ஆத்துமா கொண்ட கிறிஸ்தவர்களை வஞ்சித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றது. எனவேதான் அப்போஸ்தலனாகிய பவுல், "கிறிஸ்துவைப்பற்றிய உண்மையினின்று விலகச் செய்துவிடுமோ" என்று தான் பயந்துள்ளதாகக் கூறியுள்ளார். கிறிஸ்துவைப் பற்றிய உண்மை எது? இன்று ஒவ்வொரு சபையும் ஒவ்வொரு விதமான கோட்பாடுகளைத் தன்னகத்தே கொண்டிருக்கின்றது. அவர் தேவகுமாரன் என்று ஒரு கூட்டத்தாரும், நாங்கள் யேகோவாவைத் தேடுபவர்கள், நாங்கள் குமாரனை நாடுகின்றவர்கள் அல்ல, நாங்கள் யேகோவாவிற்குச் சாட்சிகள் என்று ஒரு கூட்டத்தாரும் சாட்சியிடுகின்றார்கள். இதுபோன்று வெவ்வேறு கோட்பாடுகளைக் கொண்டுதான் ஒவ்வொரு சபையும் இன்று செயல்பட்டுக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றது.
கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் அருமையானவர்களே, கிறிஸ்தவர்களாகிய நம்மை யேகோவாவிற்கு சாட்சிகளாயிருங்கள் என்று வார்த்தை கூறவில்லை. யேகோவாவிற்கு சாட்சிகளாய் இருக்கும்பொருட்டு இஸ்ரவேலர்களுக்குப் பிரமாணம் கட்டளையிடப்பட்டது. யேகோவா என்ற கர்த்தரின் நாமத்தினைத் தங்கள் கிரியைகளின் மூலம் இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் மறுதலித்தபடியினால், பிரமாணம் மாற்றி அமைக்கப்பட்டு, கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்து என்ற நாமத்தில் புறஜாதிகளாகிய நமக்குக் கிருபை கிடைத்துள்ளது. இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவிற்குச் சாட்சிகளாயிருங்கள் என்றுதான் அப்போஸ்தலருடைய நடபடிக்கையில் வாசிக்கின்றோம் (அப். 1: 8). பரிசுத்த ஆவி உங்களிடத்தில் வரும்போது நீங்கள் பெலன் அடைந்து, இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவுக்குச் சாட்சிகளாயிருங்கள் என்றே வார்த்தை சாட்சியிடுகின்றது. இன்றைய சபைகள் கிறிஸ்துவைப்பற்றி வெவ்வேறு விதமான போதனைகளைக் கொடுத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றது. ஆனால் கிறிஸ்துவின் சிந்தையினை இவைகளில் எந்தவொரு சபையும் சாட்சியிடவில்லை. கிறிஸ்துவைப் பற்றிய உண்மையினின்று விசுவாசிகளை விலகச் செய்வதற்குரிய கிரியைகளைத்தான் அவைகள் செய்துகொண்டிருக்கின்றது. இத்தகைய கிரியைகளைச் செய்வது பிசாசின் ஞானமாகும்.
கிறிஸ்து மாமிசத்தில் இருந்த நாட்களில், அவரைக் குறித்த உண்மையிலிருந்து யூதர்களை விலகச் செய்தது ஒரு ஞானம். இதோ, உலகத்தின் பாவத்தினைச் சுமந்துதீர்க்க வந்த தேவ ஆட்டுக்குட்டி என்று யோவான் ஸ்நானன் சாட்சியிட்டும், சிமியோன், பிதாவே, உம்முடைய இரட்சணியத்தினை என் கண்கள் கண்டது என்று சாட்சியிட்டும், நீர் ஜீவனுள்ள தேவனுடைய குமாரனாகிய கிறிஸ்து என்று அப்போஸ்தலர்கள் சாட்சியிட்டும், ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாத யூதர்கள், இவன் தச்சன் அல்லவா? யோசேப்பினுடைய குமாரன் அல்லவா? இவனுடைய தாய் மரியாள் அல்லவா? இவனுடைய சகோதரர்களும், சகோதரிகளும் நம்மிடத்தில் இருக்கின்றார்கள் அல்லவா? என்று கூறி, அவரது மாமிச சரீரத்தினைக் கொண்டு அவரது வார்த்தையினை மறுதலித்தார்கள். கிறிஸ்துவைப்பற்றிய உண்மையினை அறியவிடாதபடிக்கு வஞ்சிக்கப்பட்ட யூதர்கள் வார்த்தைக்கு எதிராகச் சாட்சியிட்டார்கள். தங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட ஞானம் எந்தத் தன்மையினை உடையது என்பதினை அறிய முடியாதபடிக்கு அவர்களின் கண்கள் குருடாக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது. காரணம், அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட ஞானம் பிசாசுக்கடுத்த ஞானமாக இருந்தது. அவர்களைப் பார்த்து: நீங்கள் உங்கள் பிதாவாகிய பிசாசினால் உண்டானவர்கள் என்றே கர்த்தர் சாட்சியிட்டுள்ளார் (யோவா. 8: 44). ஆனால் அவர்கள்: நாங்கள் பிசாசினால் உண்டானவர்கள் அல்ல, ஒரே தகப்பன் எங்களுக்கு உண்டு, ஒரே பிதா எங்களுக்கு உண்டு. ஆபிரகாம்தான் தங்களுக்குத் தகப்பன் என்றும், தாங்கள் ஆபிரகாமின் வம்சத்தார் என்றும் கூறினார்கள். இன்றையக் கிறிஸ்தவர்களும் அப்படித்தான் கூறிக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றார்கள். நாங்கள் கிறிஸ்தவர்கள், நாங்கள் ஒவ்வொரு வாரமும் தவறாது ஞாயிறு ஆராதனையில் கலந்து கொள்கின்றோம்; அங்கே சபைகளில் முதல் வரிசையில் அமருகின்றோம்; தசமபாகங்களைச் சரியாகக் கொடுத்து வருகின்றோம்; சபை வேலைகள் எதுவானாலும் முன்னின்று செய்துவருகின்றோம். எனவே, எங்களைப் பிசாசு நெருங்காது; நாங்கள் பிசாசினால் உண்டானவர்கள் அல்ல என்பதுபோன்று அறிக்கையிடுகின்றார்கள்.
கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் அருமையானவர்களே, கிறிஸ்தவர்களை வஞ்சிப்பதுதான் இன்று வலுசர்ப்பத்தின் காரியமாகும். வார்த்தையின்படியாக ஆத்துமா கொண்டவர்களை வஞ்சித்து ஆக்கினைக்குரியவர்களாக மாற்றுபவன் சத்துருவாகிய பிசாசாகும். அவன் சோதனைக்காரன். ஆத்துமா கொண்டவனை ஜீவ விருட்சத்தின் கனியினைப் புசிக்கவிடாமல் தடுப்பதில் வஞ்சகனாக அவன் செயல்படுகின்றான். சர்ப்பமானது ஏவாளை வஞ்சித்ததுபோல, சர்ப்பமானது ஆதாமை விழச்செய்ததுபோல, ஆத்துமா பெற்றிருக்கின்ற கிறிஸ்தவர்களை விழச்செய்யும்பொருட்டு வஞ்சக வலை வீசுபவன் பிசாசு. ஆத்துமா இல்லாத ஜென்ம சுபாவமான மனிதனைக் குறித்த காரியங்களில் வலுசர்ப்பத்தின் கிரியைகள் ஏதும் இல்லை.
ஆறாம் நாள் சிருஷ்டிக்கப்பட்ட ஜென்மசுபாவத்தார்களாகிய ஆத்துமா இல்லாத மனிதர்களிடம் சுவிசேஷத்தினைக் கொண்டுசெல்வது இந்த ஊழியத்தின் நோக்கம் அல்ல. ஆதாமாயிருப்பவன் தன்னுடைய ஜீவனை இழந்துபோகக்கூடாது என்பதற்காக வார்த்தையினைக் கொடுக்கும் எச்சரிப்பின் சத்தம்தான் இந்த ஊழியம்.

எத்தனை பெயர்கள் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது என்று பாருங்கள். பிசாசு, சாத்தான், சர்ப்பம், வலுசர்ப்பம் எனக் கிரியைகளின்படி காலங்களுக்குத்தக்கவாறு அவன் பெயரிடப்பட்டு அழைக்கப்படுகின்றான். அன்று ஏவாளை வஞ்சித்த சர்ப்பமானது இன்று சபைகளுக்குள் வலுசர்ப்பமாய் கிரியை செய்துகொண்டிருக்கின்றது. ஏழு சபைக்காலங்களும் நிறைவேறிய வேளையில், அவன் சபைகளை தனது ஆளுமைக்குள் கொண்டுள்ளான்.
"கிறிஸ்துவைப் பற்றிய உண்மையினின்று" விலகும்படி வஞ்சித்து ஆத்துமாக்களை சத்தியத்தினை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாமல் விலகச் செய்வதுதான் அவனின் உபாய தந்திரமாகும். அத்தகைய கிரியைகளைத்தான் இன்றும் செய்துகொண்டிருக்கின்றான்; கிறிஸ்துவைப் பற்றிய உண்மையினின்று விலகச் செய்து கொண்டிருக்கின்றான்.
கிறிஸ்து யார்?
1 கொரி. 15: 45, 47-ல் இவ்விதமாகக் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது:
"அந்தப்படியே முந்தின மனுஷனாகிய ஆதாம் ஜீவாத்துமாவானான் என்றெழுதியிருக்கிறது; பிந்தின ஆதாம் உயிர்ப்பிக்கிற ஆவியானார்.
முந்தின மனுஷன் பூமியிலிருந்துண்டான மண்ணானவன்; இரண்டாம் மனுஷன் வானத்திலிருந்து வந்த கர்த்தர்."
ஆதாமிற்குள் கர்த்தர் ஜீவ சுவாசத்தினை ஊதினார். அவனுக்குள்ளும், அவனுடைய சந்ததிகளுக்குள்ளும் ஆத்துமா என்ற உள்ளான மனிதன் உருவாகக் கிருபை கிடைத்தது. ஆறாம் நாளில் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட மற்ற மனிதர்களுக்குக் கிடைக்காத மிகப்பபெரிய கிருபை ஆதாமின் சந்ததிக்குக் கிடைத்தது. அந்த ஆதாமின் சந்ததிக்குத்தான் பரலோகம் என்ற சுதந்தரம் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது. ஆதாமிற்கு வழங்கப்பட்ட கிருபை ஆபிரகாமிற்கும், அதன்பின்னர் அவன் சந்ததிகளான இஸ்ரவேலர்களுக்கும் கட்டளையிடப்பட்டது. இது பழைய ஏற்பாடு.
புறஜாதிகளாகிய நாம் அனைவரும் பிந்தின ஆதாமின் பிள்ளைகள். பிந்தின ஆதாமிற்கு உயிர்ப்பிக்கின்ற ஆவியின்மூலமாக பிள்ளைகளானோம். பிந்தின ஆதாமின் பிள்ளைகள்தான் கிறிஸ்தவர்கள். கிறிஸ்தவர்களை மோசம்போக்கும்படியாய் வலுசர்ப்பமானது தனது கிரியைகளின்மூலம் வஞ்சித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றான்.
முந்தின ஆதாம் மாமிசத்தில் சிருஷ்டிக்கப்பட்ட ஆதாம். பிந்தின ஆதாம் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து. நாமெல்லோரும் கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள்ளாக ஜெநிப்பிக்கப்படுகின்றோம், நாம் கிறிஸ்துவின் பிள்ளைகள். அவருடைய நாமத்தின்மேல் விசுவாசம் உள்ளவர்களாய் அவரை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டவர்கள் எத்தனைபேர்களோ, அத்தனைபேரும் அவருடைய பிள்ளைகளாவதற்கு அதிகாரத்தினைக் கொடுத்தார். இந்த அதிகாரத்தின்படி நாம் அவரது பிள்ளைகள் (யோவா. 1: 12). இது ஆவிக்குரிய ஒரு நிகழ்வு. இது மாமிசத்தின்படியானது அல்ல. ஆனால் தற்போது இந்த நிகழ்வு மாமிசத்திற்குரியதாகிக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றது. நீங்கள் ஏன் கிறிஸ்தவர்களாய் இருக்கின்றீர்கள் என்று கேட்டால், எங்கள் அப்பா கிறிஸ்தவர், எங்கள் அம்மா கிறிஸ்தவள், எனவே, நானும் ஒரு கிறிஸ்தவன், கிறிஸ்தவள் என்பதே பெரும்பாலானோரின் பதிலாகும். ஆவிக்குரிய உறவு இன்று மாமிசத்திற்குரியதாய் மாறிவிட்டது.

ஆதாமிற்கு முன்னதாக ஜீவித்த மனிதர்களுக்குள் ஆத்துமா இல்லை. எனவே அவர்களுக்கு எதிராகப் பிசாசு கிரியை செய்யவில்லை.
கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் அருமையானவர்களே, நாம் அனைவரும் பிந்தின ஆதாமின் நாமத்தினை அறிக்கையிடுவதின்மூலம், பிந்தின ஆதாமின் பிள்ளைகளானோம். அவருடைய நாமத்தின்மேல் விசுவாசம் உள்ளவர்களாய் அவரை ஏற்றுக் கொண்டுள்ளதால் அவருடைய பிள்ளைகளானோம். யேகோவாவிற்கு சுவிகாரப் புத்திரர்கள் கிடையாது. யேகோவாவின் பிள்ளைகள் இஸ்ரவேலர்கள். அந்தக் கிரியைகள் நிறைவேறி விட்டது. யேகோவா என்னும் நாமத்தினை மோசே சாட்சியிட்டார். இவைகள் பழைய ஏற்பாடு.
எபே. 2: 13-ல் இவ்விதமாகக் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது:
"முன்னே தூரமாயிருந்த நீங்கள் இப்பொழுது கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குள் கிறிஸ்துவின் இரத்தத்தினாலே சமீபமானீர்கள்."
புறஜாதிகளாகிய நாமெல்லோரும் ஆறாம் நாளினில் ஆணும் பெண்ணுமாக சிருஷ்டிக்கப்பட்ட மனிதர்களாக இருந்தோம். பரலோகம் என்ற சுதந்தரத்தில் பங்கடையக்கூடிய கிருபை நமக்கு அப்போது கட்டளையிடப்படவில்லை. முன்னே தூரமாயிருந்த நாம் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் இரத்தத்தினால் சமீபத்தில் வந்துள்ளோம். இரத்தம் உயிர். இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் இரத்தத்தின் மூலம் நாம் அவரது பிள்ளைகளானோம். பழைய ஏற்பாட்டுக் காலத்தில் இஸ்ரவேலரின் தேவனின் தேவாலயத்திற்குள் நாம் பிரவேசிக்க முடியாது. அங்கே புறஜாதிகளுக்கென்று ஒதுக்கப்பட்ட இடம் வெளிப்பிரகாரம். புறஜாதிகள் உட்பிரகாரத்தினுள் செல்ல அனுமதிக்கப்படவில்லை. பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தினுள் ஆசாரியர்கள் பலியிடச் செல்வார்கள். அதன்பின்னர் மகா பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலம். அதற்குள்ளாகப் பிரவேசிக்கப் பிரதான ஆசாரியன் மட்டுமே அனுமதிக்கப்படுவான். முன்னே தூரமாயிருந்த நாம் கிறிஸ்துவின் இரத்தத்தினால் இப்போது சமீபத்தில் சேர்க்கப்பட்டுள்ளோம். பரலோகம் என்ற சுதந்தரத்திற்குத் தூரமாய் இருந்த நாம் அவரது இரத்தத்தின்மூலம் இப்போது அருகில் வந்துள்ளோம்.
அப். 20: 28-ல் இவ்விதமாகக் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது:
"ஆகையால், உங்களைக்குறித்தும், தேவன் தம்முடைய சுயரத்தத்தினாலே சம்பாதித்துக்கொண்ட தமது சபையை மேய்ப்பதற்குப் பரிசுத்தஆவி உங்களைக் கண்காணிகளாக வைத்த மந்தை முழுவதையுங்குறித்தும், எச்சரிக்கையாயிருங்கள்."
தேவன் தம்முடைய சுயரத்தத்தினால் சம்பாதித்த சபை என்று வேதம் கூறுகின்றது.
1 யோவா. 5: 11-ல் இவ்விதமாகக் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது:
"தேவன் நமக்கு நித்தியஜீவனைத் தந்திருக்கிறார், அந்த ஜீவன் அவருடைய குமாரனில் இருக்கிறதென்பதே அந்தச் சாட்சியாம்."
கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்து என்ற நாமத்தின் மூலம்தான் புறஜாதிகளாகிய நமக்கு நித்திய ஜீவன் கட்டளையிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. அந்த ஜீவன் அவருடைய குமாரனாகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவில் இருக்கின்றது என்றே வேதம் கூறுகின்றது. இயேசு கிறிஸ்து என்ற நாமமேயன்றி ஜீவனைக் கொடுக்க வேறொரு நாமம் புறஜாதிகளுக்குக் கட்டளையிடப்படவில்லை. அவருடைய இரத்தம் நமக்கு ஜீவனைக் கொடுத்துள்ளது. மாமிசத்தின் உயிர் இரத்தம் என்றுதான் வார்த்தை சாட்சியிடுகின்றது.
லேவி. 17: 14-ல் இவ்விதமாகக் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது:
"சகல மாம்சத்துக்கும் இரத்தம் உயிராயிருக்கிறது; இரத்தம் ஜீவனுக்குச் சமானம்; ஆகையால் எந்த மாம்சத்தின் இரத்தத்தையும் புசிக்கவேண்டாம்; சகல மாம்சத்தின் உயிரும் அதின் இரத்தந்தானே; அதைப் புசிக்கிற எவனும் அறுப்புண்டுபோவான் என்று இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்குச் சொன்னேன்."
இரத்தம் உயிராய் மாத்திரமல்ல; ஜீவனாயும் இருக்கின்றது. இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவினுடைய இரத்தம் நமக்கு ஜீவனைக் கொடுத்துள்ளது. மாமிசத்திற்கு உயிர் இரத்தம். இந்த உயிர் இன்னொரு உயிரை உருவாக்குகின்றது. அதைப்போல இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் இரத்தம் நமக்குள் உள்ளான மனிதனை உருவாக்கியுள்ளது. நாம் பிந்தின ஆதாமின் மாமிசத்தின்படியாக ஜெனிப்பிக்கப்படவில்லை; அவருடைய வார்த்தையின் ஜீவனால் ஜெனிப்பிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளோம்.
2 கொரி. 11: 3-ல் இவ்விதமாகக் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது:
"ஆகிலும், சர்ப்பமானது தன்னுடைய தந்திரத்தினாலே ஏவாளை வஞ்சித்தது போல, உங்கள் மனதும் கிறிஸ்துவைப் பற்றிய உண்மையினின்று விலகும்படி கெடுக்கப்படுமோவென்று பயந்திருக்கிறேன்."
கிறிஸ்துவைப்பற்றிய உண்மை என்பது, அனுப்பப்பட்டுள்ள வார்த்தையினைப் பற்றிய உண்மையாகும். கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் அருமையானவர்களே, பரத்திலிருந்து வரும் ஞானம், கிறிஸ்துவைப்பற்றிய உண்மையினை அறியக்கூடிய ஞானமாகும். இந்த ஞானம் போதகத்தின் மூலம் கொடுக்கப்படுகின்றது. இரண்டு விதமான போதகங்களைக் குறித்து வேதம் சாட்சியிடுகின்றது:
1. பரத்திலிருந்து அருளப்படும் ஞானத்தினைக் கொடுக்கும் போதகம்
2. பேய்த்தனத்திற்குரிய போதகம் (யாக். 3: 15)
பிசாசானவன், ஏதேன் தோட்டத்தில் மாறான போதனையினைக் கொடுத்ததுபோன்று இன்றும் மாறான போதகத்தைக் கொடுத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றான். நன்மை தீமை அறியத்தக்க விருட்சம் இருக்கக்கூடிய இந்தப் பூமியில் மாறுபாடான தனது கிரியைகளை நடப்பித்துக் கொண்டு வருகின்றான். நன்மை தீமை அறியத்தக்க விருட்சம் அன்று ஏதேன் தோட்டத்தில் இருந்தது; இன்று பூமியெங்கிலும் இருக்கின்ற கர்த்தரின் தோட்டமாகிய கிறிஸ்தவத்தில் இருக்கின்றது. நன்மை தீமை அறியத்தக்க இந்த விருட்சமானது பூமி முழுவதிலும் கிளைகளை விட்டு பரந்திருக்கின்றது. நன்மை தீமை அறியத்தக்க கனியினை உடைய இந்த விருட்சமானது உலகம் முழுவதும் பரந்து ஜீவிக்கின்ற கிறிஸ்தவம் என்ற தோட்டத்திற்குள் இருக்கின்றது. நன்மை தீமை அறியத்தக்க இந்த விருட்சத்தின் கனியானது கர்த்தத்துவத்திற்கு எதிரான கிரியையினைச் செய்துகொண்டு இருக்கின்றது.
பாடலின் பொருளை அறியாமல் நாமும் பாடுகின்றோம். தொன்று தொட்டு இந்தப் பாடல் பாடப்பட்டு வருகின்றது. திருமணத்தின்போது மணப்பெண்ணையும் மணமகனையும் ஆசீர்வதிப்பதாய் நினைத்துப் பாடுகின்றோம்.
"ஏதேனில் ஆதிமணம் உண்டான நாளிலே
பிறந்த ஆசீர்வாதம் மாறாதிருக்குமே".
ஏதேனில் ஆதிமணம் முடித்தபோது ஆசீர்வாதமா வந்தது? பாடுகின்ற நாம் அதின் பொருளை அறியாமல் பாடுகின்றோம். ஆதிமணம் ஏதேன் தோட்டத்தில் நடந்தபோது என்ன ஆனது? அந்த இணைப்பு ஏற்படுவதற்கு முன்னர் வரையிலும் ஆதாம் ஜீவனுக்குரியவனாக இருந்தான். அதன்பின்னர் நிகழ்ந்தவை அவனை ஆக்கினைக்குரியவன் ஆக்கிற்று.

வேதாகமம் ஆத்துமா கொண்ட ஒரு மனிதன் எத்தகைய கிரியைகளைச் செய்து நித்திய ஜீவனைப் பெறவேண்டும் என்பதற்காக எழுதப்பட்ட சத்திய புத்தகமாகும். ஆத்துமா பெற்றவர்கள் எத்தகைய கிரியைகளைச் செய்தமையினால் நித்திய ஜீவனையும், எத்தகைய கிரியைகளைச் செய்தமையினால் ஆக்கினையினையும் பெற்றுக்கொண்டார்கள் என்ற நிகழ்வுகளைச் சரித்திரங்களாக அறிவிக்கின்றது. இவைகளே தீர்க்கதரிசனங்களாகவும் முன்அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. ஒரு மனிதனை மாமிசத்திற்குள்ளாக நன்னெறிப்படுத்த எழுதப்பட்ட நன்னெறிப் புத்தகம் இது அல்ல.

ஆண்டவரே, நீர் யார்? என்று கேட்டபோது, நீ துன்பப்படுத்துகின்ற இயேசு நானே, முள்ளில் உதைக்கின்றது உனக்குக் கடினமாம் என்றார். உடனே அவன்: ஆண்டவரே, நான் என்ன செய்ய சித்தமாயிருக்கின்றீர்? என்றான். அவர் கூறிய வார்த்தைகளைப் பவுல் அப்படியே விசுவாசித்தான். தெரிந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையினை விசுவாசிப்பார்கள்; ஏற்றுக்கொள்வார்கள்.
2. அடுத்தபடியாக, ஜீவ புத்தகத்தில் பெயர் எழுதப்பட்டவர்கள் ஜீவ விருட்சத்தின் கனியினைப் புசிப்பார்கள்.

"மரித்தோராகிய சிறியோரையும் பெரியோரையும் தேவனுக்குமுன்பாக நிற்கக்கண்டேன்; அப்பொழுது புஸ்தகங்கள் திறக்கப்பட்டன; ஜீவ புஸ்தகம் என்னும் வேறொரு புஸ்தகமும் திறக்கப்பட்டது; அப்பொழுது அந்தப் புஸ்தகங்களில் எழுதப்பட்டவைகளின்படியே மரித்தோர் தங்கள் தங்கள் கிரியைகளுக்குத்தக்கதாக நியாயத்தீர்ப்படைந்தார்கள்."
ஜீவபுத்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டிருப்பவர்கள் மாத்திரமே ஜீவ விருட்சத்தின் கனியினைப் புசிப்பார்கள். அவர்களுக்குத்தான் நியாயத்தீர்ப்பு. அவர்கள் ஜீவனுக்குரியவர்கள். மாமிச மரணத்திற்குப் பின்னர் ஜீவ புத்தகத்தில் பெயர் எழுதப்பட்ட ஆத்துமாக்கள் பரதீசுக்குள் செல்லும். ஜீவ புத்தகத்தில் பெயர் எழுதப்படாத ஆத்துமாக்கள் பாதாளத்திற்குள் செல்லும்.

"ஜீவ புஸ்தகத்திலே எழுதப்பட்டவனாகக் காணப்படாதவனெவனோ அவன் அக்கினிக்கடலிலே தள்ளப்பட்டான்."
ஜீவபுத்தகத்தில் பெயர் எழுதப்படாத ஆத்துமாக்கள் ஆக்கினைத்தீர்ப்பிற்கென்று நியமிக்கப்பட்டவைகளாகும். ஆக்கினைத்தீர்ப்பிற்கென்று நியமிக்கப்பட்ட ஆத்துமாக்கள் இரண்டாம் மரணத்திற்காக அக்கினியும் கந்தகமும் எரியக்கூடிய கடலினில் தள்ளப்படும்.

ஆட்டுக்குட்டியானவருடைய ஜீவ புத்தகத்தில் ஜீவனுக்குரிய கிறிஸ்தவர்களின் பெயர்கள் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கின்றது. ஆட்டுக்குட்டியானவரின் ஜீவ புத்தகத்தில் பெயர் எழுதப்பட்டுள்ள கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் ஜீவனுக்குரியவர்கள். அவர்கள் மாயையான பிசாசின் போதகத்திற்குச் செவிகொடுக்கமாட்டார்கள்.
விக்கிரகம் என்பது மாயையான போதகமாகும். அது வார்த்தைக்கு எதிரான போதகம் ஆகும்.
ஆட்டுக்குட்டியானவருடைய ஜீவ புத்தகத்தில் பெயர் எழுதப்பட்டவர்கள், பரலோக ராஜ்யத்தினைச் சுதந்தரிப்பார்கள். ஆட்டுக்குட்டியானவருடைய ஜீவ புத்தகத்தில் பெயர் எழுதப்பட்டவர்களுக்கு, பரதீசியிலிருக்கும் ஜீவ விருட்சத்தின் கனி கொடுக்கப்படும். ஆட்டுக்குட்டியானவரால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவர்கள் அன்றைக்குரிய வார்த்தையினை விசுவாசிப்பார்கள்.
ஜீவ புத்தகத்தில் பெயர் எழுதப்பட்டிருப்பவர்கள் வலுசர்ப்பத்தினை வணங்கமாட்டார்கள். அதின் அதிகாரத்தினை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளமாட்டார்கள்.

"உலகத்தோற்றமுதல் அடிக்கப்பட்ட ஆட்டுக்குட்டியினுடைய ஜீவபுஸ்தகத்தில் பேரெழுதப்பட்டிராத பூமியின் குடிகள் யாவரும் அதை வணங்குவார்கள்."
ஜீவபுத்தகத்தில் பேரெழுதப்படாத ஆத்துமாக்கள் வலுசர்ப்பத்தினை வணங்குவார்கள்.

"நான் கண்ட மிருகம் சிறுத்தையைப் போலிருந்தது; அதின் கால்கள் கரடியின் கால்களைப்போலவும், அதின் வாய் சிங்கத்தின் வாயைப்போலவும் இருந்தன; வலுசர்ப்பமானது தன் பலத்தையும் தன் சிங்காசனத்தையும் மிகுந்த அதிகாரத்தையும் அதற்குக் கொடுத்தது.
அந்த மிருகத்திற்கு அப்படிப்பட்ட அதிகாரங்கொடுத்த வலுசர்ப்பத்தை வணங்கினார்கள். அல்லாமலும்: மிருகத்திற்கு ஒப்பானவன் யார்? அதினோடே யுத்தம்பண்ணத்தக்கவன் யார்? என்று சொல்லி, மிருகத்தையும் வணங்கினார்கள்."
இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவோடு சேர்ந்து அவரது ஆயிரம் வருட அரசாட்சியினில் பங்கடைபவர்கள் இரண்டு தகுதிகளைக் கொண்டவர்களாக இருக்கவேண்டும் என்று வெளி. 20: 4-ல் பார்த்தோம்.
முதல் தகுதி, இயேசுவைப்பற்றிய சாட்சியினிமித்தமும், தேவனுடைய வசனத்தினிமித்தமும் சிரச்சேதம்பண்ணப்பட்டவர்களாக இருக்கவேண்டும். வார்த்தையினிமித்தம் கொலை செய்யப்பட்டவர்கள்தான், ஆயிரம் வருட அரசாட்சியில் பங்கடைய முடியுமா? இரத்தசாட்சியாய் மரிக்காவிட்டாலும், பரலோகம் செல்வதற்கு ஒரு மாற்று வழி இருக்கின்றது. அதுதான் இரண்டாவது தகுதி.
இரண்டாவது தகுதி, மிருகத்தினையாவது, அதின் சொரூபத்தினையாவது வணங்காமலும், தங்கள் நெற்றியிலும், தங்கள் கையிலும் அதின் முத்திரையினைத் தரித்துக்கொள்ளாமலும் இருக்கவேண்டும்.
மிருகம் என்பது ஸ்தாபனங்களும் சபைகளும் "தங்களின் விசுவாசிகள்" என்று கொடுக்கும் அடையாளமான முத்திரையாகும். ஏழு இடி முழக்க இரகசியங்களின் மூலமாக இவைகள் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. மிருகம் வலுசர்ப்பத்தின் அதிகாரத்தினைப் பெற்று செயல்படும்.
அந்த முத்திரை என்பது "சபைக் கோட்பாடு" ஆகும். ரோமன் கத்தோலிக்கத் திருச்சபையினிடத்தில் எப்படியான சபைக்கோட்பாடு அன்று காணப்பட்டதோ, அதைப்போலவே அதன்பின்னர் பிறந்த பிரிவினையாளர்கள் சபைகளிலும், பெந்தேகோஸ்தே இயக்கங்களிலும், அதன்பின்னர் எழும்பிய நாமத்திற்கு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுக்கும் சபையிலும் காணப்படுகின்றது. ஜீவ புத்தகத்தில் பெயர் எழுதப்பட்டிருப்பவர்கள் பூமிக்குரிய இந்தப் பிரிவு சபைகளைச் சார்ந்தவர்களல்ல; அவர்களிடத்தில் இந்த மிருகத்தின் முத்திரை இருக்காது. அவர்கள் ஆயிரம் வருட அரசாட்சிக்கு ஆயத்தமாக இருக்கின்றார்கள். அவர்கள் நாமங்கள் ஜீவ புத்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கின்றது. அவர்களுக்காக ஜீவ விருட்சத்தின் கனி ஆயத்தமாயிருக்கின்றது. மேற்குறிப்பிடப்பட்ட இந்த இரண்டு தன்மையில் இருப்பவர்கள் மாத்திரமே ஆயிரம் வருடம் கிறிஸ்துவுடனேகூட இந்தப் பூமியில் அரசாட்சி செய்வார்கள்.
மூன்றாவது காரியம், ஜெயங்கொள்கின்றவர்கள் ஜீவ விருட்சத்தின் கனியினைப் புசிப்பார்கள்.

முதலாவதாக, தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவர்களாய் இருக்க வேண்டும்.
இரண்டாவதாக, ஜீவ புத்தகத்தில் பெயர் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கின்றவர்களாக இருக்க வேண்டும்.
மூன்றாவதாக, ஜெயங்கொள்ளுகின்றவர்களாக இருக்கவேண்டும். ஜெயங்கொள்ள முடிவுபரியந்தமும் நிலைத்திருக்க வேண்டும்.
வெளி. 3: 5-ல் இவ்விதமாகக் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது:
"ஜெயங்கொள்ளுகிறவனெவனோ அவனுக்கு வெண்வஸ்திரம் தரிப்பிக்கப்படும்; ஜீவ புஸ்தகத்திலிருந்து அவனுடைய நாமத்தை நான் கிறுக்கிப்போடாமல், என் பிதா முன்பாகவும் அவருடைய தூதர் முன்பாகவும் அவன் நாமத்தை அறிக்கையிடுவேன்."
வெண் வஸ்திரம் பரிசுத்தவான்களுடைய நீதி என்பதாகும். அந்த நீதி விசுவாசமாகும். விசுவாசமே நீதி. பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் முத்திரை கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையினை விசுவாசிப்பதனால் கிடைக்கக்கூடிய அடையாளம் ஆகும்.
வெளி. 12: 11-ல் இவ்விதமாகக் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது:
"மரணம் நேரிடுகிறதாயிருந்தாலும் அதற்குத் தப்பும்படி தங்கள் ஜீவனையும் பாராமல், ஆட்டுக்குட்டியின் இரத்தத்தினாலும் தங்கள் சாட்சியின் வசனத்தினாலும் அவனை ஜெயித்தார்கள்."
சத்துருவை ஜெயித்து ஜீவனுக்குள்ளாகப் பிரவேசிக்கவும், ஜீவ விருட்சத்தின் கனியினைப் புசிக்கவும் இரண்டுவிதமான காரியங்களைச் செய்யவேண்டும் என்று வார்த்தை சாட்சியிடுகின்றது.
1. வார்த்தை (கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்து) மீது விசுவாசம்
2. இரத்தத்தின் (அனுப்பப்படும் அந்த நாளுக்குரிய வார்த்தை) மீது விசுவாசம்.
கர்த்தரிடமிருந்து அனுப்பப்படும் அந்த நாளுக்குரிய வார்த்தைமீதான விசுவாசத்தின்மூலம்தான் சத்துருவினை ஜெயங்கொள்ளமுடியும். முடிவுவரை வார்த்தையில் நிலைத்திருப்பவனே ஜீவனுக்குரியவன், அவன் ஜீவ விருட்சத்தின் கனியினைப் புசிக்கக் கர்த்தரால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவன்.
தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்படுதல் கர்த்தரது கிருபையினால் கட்டளையிடப்பட்டுள்ள மகா பெரிய ஈவு ஆகும்.
கர்த்தர்தாமே ஜீவ விருட்சத்தின் கனியினைப் புசிக்க உங்களுக்குக் கிருபையினைக் கட்டளையிடுவாராக.
